Table Mounted Standing Desk
Inspired by a design that I saw whilst searching for standing desk designs, I created the following standing desk to use on my dining room table whilst we continue to work from home during the Covid19 pandemic. No build log photos this time just the finished article, which I now use several days a week. It was built from 2 sheets of 4ft x 2ft plywood. After doing the math to determine the correct hole sizes i created a jig with which I used my router to create consistent holes. Other cuts were mostly done with a circular saw and japanese pull saw. Corners were rounded and surfaces sanded using my random orbit sander. Finish applied is a a danish oil.
As you can see, the design has enough space for a laptop and an auxiliary screen, both of which equal 10Kg when combined.
